In my field of paper flowers

So been surprisingly busy with many things. A few weeks ago it was my grandmothers birthday and I made five paper hibiscus's, I'm very pleased how well they turned out, also my sister helped with a couple. Hand wrote a nice letter on parchment paper and cut out and drew my own border, it took hours (I blurred out the writing). I was going to seal it but didn't have the proper wax and thus forming a stain of wax made from a candle, but it gave it character I suppose. Since I write with a fountain pen and ink I should really invest in sealing wax and a press seal.

I was just in the origami making mode and made a lotus flower.  Getting in the crafty mood is always fun, I tend to enjoy it a bit and go all out and want to do a bunch of things. I'm really going to need to learn how to sew, because more and more things are starting to rip and thus the need to acquire that skill has become a bit of a necessity. I have this old antique nightstand with a hidden sewing machine inside, hopefully it works and might prove to be useful. I've heard they are great machines though, needs a good cleaning that Singer does.

No new shopping done in last while, except getting a new pair of tights and suspenders. I bought my wee cousin a birthday gift taking up most of my savings. So on goes the search for a job and thrift stores. I've only discovered one thrift store a few miles from my house. I've been eying it every time we drive by, most often it's dark, so everything is closed. Hope there are more tales to tell quite soon. Au Revoir.

The drawings on the walls

I haven't updated in awhile but I'd say 2 weeks ago I was hanging with my best friend, we were just lounging around listening to music and drawing on her walls. She's really into art and has her stuff all over the walls. Sometimes I can really be artistic, I just honestly don't draw often, so I just stick to doodling. She has just discovered etsy so we've been internet searching wee cute things all evening. Watched an episode of oddities there was this man what paints with his own blood! How wicked is that. :3 We also went and saw Horrible Bosses, funniest movie I've seen lately. Been watching quite a bit of comedies.

Sunday night I went and saw Deathly Hallows, it was brilliant! But they changed the fight scene at the end, but it was very good also. I was pleased with the whole film all together, I've been a bit of a fan since I was really young and have read every book, it's a bit disappointing there is no more Harry Potter to come. But it was a grand finish to the series. Also been catching up on some reading, the library is a few blocks away so I have access to a lot of books. So I have started this new series, The Foundling, it's set in a world of people in a European country and of this orphan on his journey, and all the monsters he encounters and strange people. It's quite interesting and has funny slang. While reading Felix decided to pay me a visit and stare out my window and take a nap.

Well this concludes my first update. Shall be back soon. My adventures shall not cease anytime in the near future lets hope!

Forever Strange,
Eleseret

Ps: Sister randomly walked in one day, talked of running... then said it's difficult eating a chicken leg with her left hand, dare I ask what on earth the reasoning for that it, I presume she's training for using it to master the art of nun chucks to kill the goblins in the attic, but her response was just simply training it.. for the reasons of unknown. I think she secretly plots against the goblins, there shall be an uproar soon.

I made cupcakes awhile back, carrot cupcake with cream cheese icing. Absolutely delectable. <3

Salutations!

Hello fellow morsels. I've decided to create a blog and share with you the little adventures of the things I don't do often. So allow me to introduce myself, you may call me Eleseret I live in hell, also known as Texas, soon to be getting out of here.

The weekend was not eventful, but I enjoyed it with my best friend whom I don't see often. Today is the day where I start expressing my inner goth more often, I'm sick of being lazy about my dressings and miss the feeling of when I get all spiffed up. So it's now my mission. So I experimented with make up today and came up with what you see here.

Shall I tell you about me? I'm a dreamer of a thing, always thinking of something other than whats going on around me. I don't really get out much, though that might be changing soon. I'm studying for the asvab to prepare for the navy. Yes I'm going to be a little gothling in the military, as peculiar as it sounds it'll be a secret, officers will make fun of me and give me extra trouble knowing what a little weirdo I really am. I'm an avid reader, always about vampires and monsters galore, thrillers, romances, all of the like. Gore and all about the macabre intrigue my very being. In the future I aspire to be a Medical Examiner. Which excites me just thinking about it. ^.^ I spend most of my time in my room, I draw here and there, but I call it doodling. Journaling is a bit of a little passion of mine, though I surely don't get out my fountain pen and ink very often to fill it in. To conclude this message I must bid you all adieu.
